There's a few pieces of original art left over from con season, so they're all down to £45 with the discount... Help me get my office space back, buy some stuff!
I'm having a MASSIVE 50% OFF SALE. The studio is at capacity so I'm aiming to clear out all my backlog of prints by the end of summer. Use code SUMMER in my Ko-fi shop for 50% off EVERYTHING. ko-fi.com/jimstafford/...
Call me Mr Cynical, but I want to see some numbers before I start rearranging my entire room and digging around in the freezer. If it's '1 degree cooler for 8 minutes', I'm just gonna sit here and take my chances.
The mighty Lew Stringer is two tables down from me and was kind enough to sign my childhood copy of Transformers 88. Surreal!
Thanks to a colossal administrative oversight, I'm not going to be at TFN this year. Objectively terrible news, I know, I know, it's very sad. BUT, silver lining, the postal service exists, and I can still take virtual TFN-commissions! Price list attached, get in touch if you'd like anything.
The Printed-in-Blood Crow Artbook Kickstarter goes live this Sunday – I've got an officially licenced piece in there (not this one, you'll have to buy the book to see it). www.kickstarter.com/projects/cro...
A rare picture of me sitting in front of people and saying stuff from TFUK Con last week. I had such a fun time and got to chat to loads of friends new and old. Thanks to the most excellent Samsformers for chronicling the event in such detail (haven't seen so many photos of me since my wedding day!)
The only thing I bought at TFUK Con were these repro Turbomaster missiles. So worth it! The boys look even more handsome by the day.
All set up at TFUK Con. Just to the left (or right) as you come down the stairs.
Right, car is packed – time to fuel up and hit the road for TFUK con '26! See some of you tomorrow!
I'm down in the spiritual home of Big Robots (Birmingham, obvs) next weekend for my first TFUK Con. I can squeeze in one or two commissions for pickup at the show if anyone is going. Drop me a DM, first come first served etc.
Here's my commission price list for Macc-pow in June. I'll be tabling on Saturday 27th and you can pick up any time during the day (or drop me a message if you'd rather pick up Friday or Sunday and I'll see what I can do). DM or email jimstafford18@gmail.com to order!
Really excited to table (as a guest no-less) my first non-robot convention at this 2026's Macc-pow (maccpow.co.uk). If you're local to Macclesfield (or even if you aren't!) it would be great to see you there. I'll be taking some commissions for collection, so if you can make it, get in touch!
Never posted this one I don't think – unused concept for issue 2 of Last Bot Standing.
Never posted the physical version of this Drift comission! It came out right good it did.
ALSO I've been having the MOST fun SHAMELESSLY ripping off Messrs Watterson and Schulz for some Li'l Turbos backup strips in the next issue of Thunderclash Goes Bananas (The upcoming 'Hunt for Hyperdrive'). Here's a sample!
Alright, let's go double duty, I've got the bandwidth (just about). Hello #portfolioday, I'm Jim, I draw robots, I draw spooky things, ideally in the form of 'comical books'. Maybe even both in the same story, it's your dime. Here, as is traditional, are four pictures to back up my claims.
Hello #portfolioday – comic book letterer here ready and willing to work on YOUR next book. Drop me a DM if you've got a letterer-sized gap in your life.
Clean lines for my Target: 2006 poster. I painted in the propeller blades and explosions at the coloring stage. Poster still up for pre-sale on my Kofi. ko-fi.com/s/6012f8e5db
Some of my favorite pages from the last three years of Thunderclash Goes Bananas (that I've drawn, the rest is even better...) We're back again this year, bigger and better, even more special guests, some new faces, and even some old returning team members. It's shaping up beautifully!
Re-post for the transatlantic crowd. My brand new Target: 2006 40th Anniversary Poster is up for pre-order in my Kofi store! ko-fi.com/jimstafford/... Shares appreciated!
Updated version of my most tattooed piece (updated because the old one is like looking at embarrassing baby photos!). People still keep getting the old one inked though!
This was the mascot I designed for Collection toys. See if you can guess all the characters he's assembled from...
