Willie Nelson is speaking out about AI data centers & I'm grateful for his voice in this fight! The race for artificial intelligence has a very real footprint: water, energy, land, and too often, Indigenous communities are expected to carry the burden. Progress shouldn't create new sacrifice zones

Nelson writes that data centers are noisy, consume large amounts of water, create light pollution, threaten farmland and small family farmers, and disconnect people from the land.
