I am an enthusiast of multi-pens. I like the Bic one because a) childhood memories & b) relatively inexpensive & easy to find so great for travel, I don't stress if I lose it. They have recently launched my dream version: blue, red & black inks with a mechanical pencil. Of course I had to buy it.

Attention Toronto fibre crafters: there's a jaw-dropping collection of books at the Second Chance thrift shop on Gerrard East. Mostly weaving, machine embroidery and quilting but I picked up a few gems. $1 for hardcoves, 50 cents for paperbacks.

My amaryllis is Out of Control. I bought it two and a half weeks ago. Big rocks on the pot so it doesn't topple over.

When a friend offers a "few" leftover hot peppers when they have finished their preserving for the year... And it turns out to be a kilo. 71 perfect cherry bomb peppers.
