Absolute bucket list stuff from a spritely David Byrne this evening. Simply incredible from start to finish 🤩
Praying with every inch of my soul for Jarvis to turn up at the half time show 🙏
Lazy sunny afternoon vibes from The Sleeves - jazzy drums & woozy harmonies. Lovely.
Sometimes you need some folk with a load of electronic gadgets to blow your ears out with white noise and static for a bit. Excellent work from Peoples Noise Collective with their showcase tonight, I caught Falling Cat Problems, Sword Of Damocles & Deimatic Dispay
Easy for you to say Four Tet mate, easy for you to say.. (it’s lush though 🤩)
Doom Gong at The Tin tonight - denim jackets all round, there were a lot of them, they had a shedload of stuff, they weren’t that doomy at all & they had a massive gong. Marvellous.
A tip top night of fuzzy jangle pop at @justdroppedin.bsky.social . Resident band The Cords & Good Flying Birds both in sparkling form 💥
Swirly feedback filled soundscape from April Magazine followed by Tony Jay, a prom band for the dropouts. Both super entertaining & top notch Monday evening fare at @justdroppedin.bsky.social
Who doesn’t love a matinee gig ? And if it’s lovely dark, doomy & drone filled stuff even better. Alison Cotton was ace this afternoon at The Tin
Absolutely sweltering at @justdroppedin.bsky.social tonight. Tara Clerkin Trio delivered a perfect mix of trip hop, jazzy, woozy, wonkiness. Just delicious.
Time to start sauntering back to reality (checking out Bordeaux & Honfleur en route). It’s been ace here.
Aldous Harding tonight - intense, beguiling, enchanting, precise. So, so good.
Fantastic bill courtesy of @joesors.bsky.social at The Tin tonight - dark, heartache filled, Canadian country from Bob Sumner & probably favourite support act of the year, The Drone Rangers - folk infused noise with luscious vocals. Marvellous all round 👌
An evening of weird / experimental - big bunch of talented musicians across genres thrown together into 6 bands to see what happens. Top notch idea.
This. Twenty or so excellent musicians, placed into 6 random bands to improvise. It’s been brilliant & chaotic in equal measure. In Cov & a fiver 🤯
