Happy to welcome the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction team to B.C. for Emergency Preparedness Week! ICLR will be at our Emergency Preparedness Expo here at the legislature tomorrow from 10 to 2 with interactive displays on how to protect your household from fires, floods, & earthquakes. 🏡

At 1:55 p.m. tomorrow - Wednesday, May 6 - a test of the BC Emergency Alert system will take place. You’ll hear the alert tone and receive a message on your phone, TV or radio. Testing makes sure the alert system is working in case of an actual emergency.
