Then, after a scant minute of staring at my hair, the front of it opened up into a massive grotesque maw with rows and rows of teeth, wide and gaping, tongue thrashing inside. This pic of venom is the closest I can find to it, and it undersells what the visual was like.
Then, slowly, my hair enveloped my face. It was thick, dark, and I looked like the girl from the grudge. I could see every fiber moving and twisting and tangling.
