A very MSPIFF #LastFourWatched OBSESSION and MARAMA worked the best for me out of this block. STRIVE was one of the few short films I saw this week with a LB entry/image so it gets the nod here.
Three films in for MSPIFF so far and a recent physical media pickup for my #LastFourWatched It's been a solid bunch so far at the festival and Maria was in-person for PARALYZED BY HOPE, which was very cool.

According to these guys, nobody knows about or has seen RELAY. I don't know if that's true, but would encourage you to check it out if you missed it. It wasn't "crime-y" enough to make my top 10 list but I really enjoyed it.
It's Hal Linden's bday today! I wrote about his gritty, pre-Barney Miller tv movie Mr. Inside/Mr. Outside in the first issue of AR. Hal, Tony Lo Bianco, and a ton of amazing location footage. It's one I'd still love to see a restoration of

Lots of swords and revolvers in my #LastFourWatched and no regrets on my part. Police Python remains a favorite, happy to have caught Tattooed Life, Black Samurai with an audience was a hoot, and why not a long overdue revisit of The Hunted? I still love it.
