nvidia, microsoft, openai, mozilla, meta and a ton of others signed a letter about how open weight models are good for a healthy & competitive ai ecosystem and they should not be banned by the us government. anthropic employees are reacting in totally normal and not at all weird ways.
am I crazy or does this look like she's officiating their wedding
Wait nvm it’s not even actually back. Can’t even be used for coding
codex is super underrated tbh I've gone between it and opencode since claude got much worse. desktop app is really nice and they give out rate limit resets like candy whenever there's any issues or outages. I have 3 banked rn
deno desktop is INSANELY thorough. I assumed it would be super basic but it's actually a real electron killer. Notifications, DMGs, support for bundled CEF (Electron style) and native WebView (Tauri style), Auto-updater, multi-window support, and on and on. @deno.land cooked so hard with this one.
wait they also improved a ton more benchmarks in 2.9 cold start being 2x faster is especially important for serverless or edge use cases.
Also: Deno 2.8.3 leapfrogged Bun in a ton of perf benchmarks and Deno has been ahead of Bun in node compat for ages.
bc anthropic employees seemingly have to go through a 50 step vetting process before posting anything. OpenAI employees make jokes like this, talk openly about bugs and even sometimes reference future/unannounced models. It's very refreshing to feel like they're making a point to be transparent.
all I'll say is that if an anthropic employee posted anything remotely like this, they would be immediately shot 57 times.
best I can do after fiddling with a while with the bsky permission sets. none of them include interacting with content (follow, repost or like creation) so I need custom repo additions, which adds the "Manage your profile, posts, likes and follows" warning even though we don't manage the profile.
Our public high school rents out the entire Barclays Center for graduation bc we have 1500 seniors graduating. It’s very funny to have a Jumbotron at a graduation.
I left 5 stars but my only complaint is that the tab routing in domain management causes a full reload and I wish it was done client side. Other than that, it's amazing!
