Thick spikes emerge from the white fur of her powerful forearms & shoulders, while other plates of armor have grown to protect her love handles, cup her plump, round glutes, and cover the length of the front of both muscular, digitigrade legs. The 3 huge clawed toes of each foot are shredding and crumpling the steel catwalk beneath as she leans forward on the massive belly resting in the shallow pool of slime.

This is the gym badge I drew for the 2026 SLAKings Gym Leader Challenge event coordinator, Pokémon Professor (the labcoat makes it official), and this year's Normal Gym Leader! This image was minted into buttons to hand out to people who beat the Normal Gym Leader in a Pokébattle at CyPhaCon 2026. The badge itself shows Kleavor's axe wearing the diamond-themed Normal Tera Crown. The background of the image is a dazzling prismatic gleam, and the two objects are joined in the center.

Xana (@xanadeas.bsky.social), a brown-furred, anthro bear-croc man with scaly hands and a big crocodile-tail, has been granted their darkest eldritch desire to grow into a massive, planet-gobbling, radioactive kaiju! Ingredients:
- Gallon Jar (gasket not necessary, too salty for fermentation to occur)
- Filtered Water - no more than a liter
- CaCl - 1 tsp (keeps them from turning to mush)
- Badia Sazón Complete - 4 T
- Salt (Pickling, Kosher, or Sea) - 6 T (I used pickling salt)
- White vinegar - 2 T (plus some more to sterilize the jar)
- Mustard Seeds - 2 T
- Tellicherry Black Peppercorns - 2 T, whole
- Bay leaf (dry) - 3 dried leaves
- Dill (dry) - 1.5 T and/or Dill Seed - 3 T
- Garlic - 1 whole bulb, peeled, trimmed, & smash-smeared (mince as well for stronger flavor)
- Kirby cucumbers - 10-20 (quantity depends on their size (this batch had very thick cukes)

Process:
1. Clean the jar, and rinse it with distilled vinegar.
2. Add salt to jar with 2 T vinegar and enough water to dissolve it with some stirring.
3. Wash your cukes, and trim the tips off both ends.
4. Stand cukes in the brine at the bottom of the jar until you can't pack any more in against the jar's base.
5. Add all the bay leaves to the jar with half the garlic & other spices.
6. Pack remaining cukes into the jar.
7. Add the calcium chloride along with the rest of the garlic and spices.
8. Start adding filtered water. The goal is to cover the cukes, and still leave a little air in the jar (no more than an inch from the top). If it looks like the cukes are floating above the water line, add optional fermentation weight or grape leaves now. Another option is to simply rest the jar upside-down on its well-tightened lid.
9. Wipe rim, screw lid on tightly, and agitate the jar.
10. For 6-7 days leave the jar in a cool (preferably between 18°C-24°C/65°F-75°F) place with very low light and definitely no direct sunlight. It might even be fine if simply left in the fridge.
11. Slice into thin strips to imitate whole anchovy fillets. Dice or mince for salads, spreads, and other dishes (bagna càuda, focaccia, tapenade, etc.). Should probably be stored in the fridge.

The distraught Great Dane-sized dragon has pulled in his feathered wings to shield his retreat while clutching his tufted tail in fear. This is a Trick WITH Treats, so Jabber is about to get the FULL Halloween experience he demanded.

This second image has Jabber (now the size of a small car) swollen with enough candy for an entire cul-de-sac, and caged from above by the wrought iron legs of the insane crockery! Some may like the idea of being forced to eat a metric ton of candy, but it takes a true glutton and garbage-belly to even eat the packaging (not that he really has a choice).

The third part of this series shows the once Great Dane-sized dragon rapidly filling the witch's gingerbread cottage. It's no wonder as the cauldron has graduated to stuffing full-sized candy bars and whole sacks of candy into that ravenous maw via a torrent of cursed energy. The cauldron is standing in front of Jabber, who is immobile atop his own room-filling belly. His forelegs are shackled to the cauldron as his wings and tail flail about in futility. It also looks like the gingerbread floor beneath his massive tummy is beginning to buckle from the weight. Even the toffee flooring nails are starting to pry themselves free.

The remains of the cottage amount to little more than the scattered rubble of gingerbread crumbs and shattered sugar-glass littering the ground. And there's the witch, flattened beneath the front door, itself pinned by Jabber's blubber while her feet stick out like the Wicked Witch of the East under the Gale family farmhouse. It turns out the bloated dragon was always the one in control as the now sobbing and overworked familiar is compelled to pump out countless plastic pumpkins overflowing with candy. Jabber however, has outgrown all but some fractured framing and an untouched fruitcake chimney. His expression is that of one lost in gluttonous reverie.$
