I just finished reading Frankenstein and I have some questions. Mostly why is every single movie/show ever made completely different? Like not one thing besides the guys last name is in the book. People be taking liberties 🤦♀️
Just repotted this guy, it was so root-bound it took some doing to get it in there. It has really cool aerial roots you can’t see right now. I have dirt packed up around the sides so as I water the dirt will work its way down into the roots because there was some gaps left from the transplant. 🥰
It’s hot here so I decided to go to the ice rink and cool off. It was super fun until I had to pee. This photo is a little misleading because it’s taken from the floor so the toilet looks taller than it is, the seat was level with the top of my skate. So awkward 😂

Walking down my stairs and saw something hit the wall in my living room and fall on my side table. Thought my mom threw something and was confused then I hear “There’s a bird in the house!” Poor little guy knocked itself out. It’s fine and flew away after a while. Fledgling mourning doves are dumb.
Had to cancel my gym membership yesterday because of some billing issues that weren’t being resolved. Might need to sue. I’m actually pretty sad about it because I was getting amazing results and I liked it there. Now I need to find a new gym 😢
I lost my mom today. After looking everywhere for her, I happen to look out the window and saw her escaping. She’s fine, she just decided she needed some exercise. 😂 How is this my life?! 😆

So I stopped at the used bookstore on the way to the movie and the owner stopped to chat as usual and when he noticed my shirt she said he had some books in the warehouse. He sent someone to get them for me 🥰 I’m in the middle of reorganizing my He-Man section but these are really cool!
It’s that time of year again. I think the peach tree might be at the end of its life. It was here and full grown when I moved in 9 years ago, this year the peaches are significantly smaller and there isn’t as many. Most peach trees slow fruit growth significantly after 10-15 years.

I had so much fun at the opal mine even though it was HOT and I didn’t get anything really exciting. Saw so many wild animals including donkeys, horses, coyotes, rabbits, snakes, and lots of birds. It’s like several hours away from any sort of town in the middle of nowhere but stunning views.
Well that was an interesting weekend. Did it go as planned? Nope. Am I covered in bruises, blisters, sunburned, exhausted and in pain? Yup. Worth it? Definitely. Hindsight is a bitch because decisions were made and while they weren’t wrong necessarily they could have been done in a different order.

Having my mom living with me has been an experience. I moved out at 14, I didn’t talk to my mom for 10-15 years. I am just getting to know her and it’s weird. Any moment I can send alone is amazing 😝 I spend an hour carving this obsidian in my garage listening to an audiobook and it was perfection.

Pulled my first ears of maze yesterday and now would be the perfect time to have a man tell me 4” is an average size.
I finally talked someone into going opal mining with me! I don’t think she realizes what I got her signed up for. Full on bank picking in the desert, in June. I’m pretty excited about it, gonna have to pick up some extra gear though. Wish me luck! This mine is known for some pretty incredible finds
Last night was so nice. I really needed a break. Back to the grind today though. 😘
Going to see my besties band play tonight and even though I’ve seen them play dozens of times I’m always confused about what to wear 😆 I’m probably a little long in the tooth to be wearing fishnets and a corset but jeans and Tshirt don’t really fit the vibe. One of these days I’ll figure it out.
