ever since i was a little girl, i dreamed of someday becoming my own blood boy
I hope what people take away from this case is that men can openly brag about assaulting and trafficking women/girls and still just walk around free—for years or more often *forever*—and I hope people can look at this case and know why so few victims come forward
some of these were really short but this year I've really made reading an everyday part of my life and it's been amazing
The anti-abortion movement has long weaponized faux panics over ‘parental rights’ to target youth abortion access/abortion broadly—only for state agents to try to frame parents who help their children as 'unfit' or even abusive, in some cases @ifwhenhow.bsky.social has worked on:
etsy spell i bought at 9:52 pm to save the sixers' season with like 3 minutes left in the game
There is never a “right time” or non-“suspicious” time for women to come forward in a society where the default setting is to perceive and treat women as liars:
Re: the claims that the women accusing Swalwell should have "just quit" or that what they've described doesn't amount to rape/sexual violence:

Similar to how Zionist propaganda mirrors the tactics of abusers, the endless condemnations, handwringing, and policing of Palestinians' responses to oppression closely mirror victim-blaming in our rape culture:
A sexual violence researcher on how Zionist propaganda tactics mirror the playbook of domestic abusers—namely by reversing victim/offender & portraying reactions to abuse/oppression as the only abuse taking place. and re: language like "Israel has a right to defend itself"—
The consequences of Zionist "mass rape" atrocity propaganda have been devastating, justifying the Gaza genocide—and also increasingly brazen, systematic sexual violence against Palestinians:
This has always been a tactic of colonizers: portray colonized men as barbaric rapists who can’t be entrusted with self-determination, and portray any & all resistance to oppression as senseless sprees of raping and killing by bestial, subhuman terrorists:
I wrote abt the bad faith smear campaign to equate support for Palestine with rape apologia—a strategy that's actually emboldened Israelis to escalate sexual violence against Palestinians (pulling from my forthcoming book on connections btwn state violence & DARVO): substack.com/home/post/p-...
You always hear leftists “don’t want power, they want to endlessly critique power." it’s not that they don’t want power, but that time and again, centrist, establishment Dems shut them out for being "rude" & would rather side w/ polite fascists instead:
As for this nebulous smear that Hasan is some toxic misogynist, that accusation is rich coming from liberal, centrist establishment types who ACTUALLY harm women— Bill Clinton JUST spoke at the DNC in 2024:
After 2024, Dems insisted they needed some messianic ‘Joe Rogan of the left.’ What they really want is someone who doesn’t exist: an organically popular influencer who somehow appeals to disaffected young men while being pro-Israel & unconditionally supportive of the Democratic establishment:
