I really really LOVE Pokemon Sun and Moon and was super ecstatic when i got the commissiom request from @nelemame.bsky.social to draw Kahili, such a cute chara design! 🥹

A king oyster mushroom artwork i finished last year in december for a mushroom gijinka artbook 🍄 A baddie living the freeloader life✨️ 1. is my final version that i slightly adjusted digitally with a more prominent shadow and glow effect, 2. is the raw scan #gouache #mixedmediaart #mushroomart

A traditional mixed media piece, in front center is a king oyster mushroom gijinka female character, whos legs are inside the ground, connected with the wild carrot plants beside her. Her body language is loose and she has a mischivievous expression on her face, since she acts as a parasite to those carrots. She is surrounded by other, regular, king oyster mushrooms. The background shows trees with reddish leaves and everything is basking and glowing in goldish light.

Did some color studies with colored pencils, since i want to get better executing hard and dramatic shadows with this medium! Its still hard for me to do but i learned a lot and had fun!
