Not only is Mahomes' EPA/play when pressured #1 in the NFL, but the gap between his Time to Pressure and Time to Throw when pressured is also one of the largest. He's buying a full second after the pressure comes, and experiencing relative success on the play. Data: @sumersports.bsky.social

Similar pattern exists for the teams with the best rest differential. Teams with the most net rest surplus won more than expected (4 of top 5 were net positive). But overall... more teams went under their preseason total than went over.
Of the 28 teams (since 2002) with the most extreme rest differential disparities: 10 went UNDER their preseason win total. 18 went OVER.
I am somewhat visual, as a learner. So, after reading Sam's findings, I still wanted to SEE a few examples. Luckily, Brian Burke from ESPN posted some graphs of the most extreme historical cases of rest differential advantages & disadvantages.
