Right. I now have a brave for my thumb and I've managed to link my earbuds to the telly via Bluetooth which might make cleaning a bit less aggravating. Sadly it doesn't reliably reach the kitchen sink
There used to be an arch but it blew down. This is what I cut off before the photos
With all the spring rain followed by the June sunshi e, my garden is a jungle. I may need a machete. Or a flame thrower
Up to 27° here this afternoon, humidity 72% This is Thursday's forecast. It's hotter further south
Just over six months since Michael died & today would have been our *counts* 47th wedding anniversary Miss you sweetheart
This is irrelevant I know but whenever I see sandals like these I marvel at how long other people's toes must be compared to mine.
This is our forecast for next week & one a bit further south. It's ridiculously hot by UK standards
This shows the picnic area from a few years back - I don't think anyone is identifyable
Changes 1) Admission now charged per person but parking is free. You have to book ahead. 2) I will probably head for the picnic area. I should be easy to find. I'll wear a bright flowery t-shirt Happy to DM my phone number so you can track me down I'll iron it tomorrow 🙄

Attempting to tidy the cupboard under the stairs & discovered a box of my secondary school exercise books. For example my O level notes on Henry IV part 1
Well, the bush is a bit scraggly & the leaves are a bit spotty so not that beautiful. My doorstep pots are good though
I'm ready to start sorting the beginning for tea but the washi g has 10 minutes left so I'm sitting out where it's still in the shade listening to the birds& literally smelling the roses
Why do some people insist on using "text speak" in ordinary posts on SM where the length of the post isn't an issue? It surely renders them near unintelligible for many of us. Is it a strange kind of showing off or can they simply genuinely not spell (an example from FB)

Field stripping the coffee machine Everything taken apart & cleaned About to reassemble Wish me luck
Just walked my recycling up to the recycling centre (food waste collection didn't happen & I was out when they came for plastic) Shouldn't complain. This is my way to the bins

Not doing too badly in Bury though. In spite of the current council being regularly criticised in local SM & comments in local press
