I can’t believe I haven’t read ”Babel” by R.F Kuang until now! I’m only 40 pages or so in, but I can already tell that this is going to be one of the best books I’ve read in a while.

Here you can kinda tell the scale of the march. Idk how many we were exactly, but it’s the largest May Day march I’ve seen in the 6 years I’ve lived here!
Thank you dear orcs! I haven’t celebrated that much, but my coworkers treated me to some ice cream during our afternoon break! We had weather that us humans tend to like (even if I know you don’t), so it was very nice. 🍦☀️
Enligt UNT har polisen sagt att det är en person ”som inte verkar må så bra”, men det är ju jäkligt vagt. Och även om man påverkas av psykisk ohälsa kan man ha politiska motiv..
Okay, the newspaper UNT has a bit more of an explanation. They quote a spokesperson from the police who say: ”After questioning we don’t suspect any political or religious motives, it seems to be a person who isn’t very well.” The suspect had been let go after questioning.

Finally felt like I was up to reading the follow-up to ”Black Leopard, Red Wolf” (that I talked abt 👇), and about 20% in ”Moon Witch, Spider King” is very good! Dark and with difficult themes, but good. Interesting that it’s from the POV of someone who was kinda an antagonist in the first book!
Just realised that sort of texturing thing on the maple leaf is similar to the texturing on the crowns on ours! Unfortunately yellow jerseys can never look quite as cool, being yellow…
