Almost done! This project really challenged me in many ways & in the end needed to accept that I can't quite replicate my digital art traditionally yet (acrylics are also the wrong kind of paint, I need to mix my own tempura for future attempts)

It was my love's birthday so we made a nice birthday trip visiting my falconry mentor and his birds today 🪶 Check out my partners work he makes such amazing art 🖤
Finally onto the birds 🪶 It's still unbearably hot here... I can't even mix the paint fast enough before it immediately dries :')
Some more progress, every step feels very intimidating because I'm so rusty with traditional media🫠 I hope the final lineart will pull it all together ^^' I wanted to work on digital stuff today initially but my PC couldn't handle the heat :')

St. John's Wort for St. John's Older piece from 2020 which I added some touch ups to 2 years ago which I still like a lot. The tapestry print is to this day my favorite one to use as extra padding inside for my instrument carrier ~
