read through this last night and here's a select few screenshots of stuff in it that spoke to me, esp to the remnants of depressed teen mado. dialogue feels very real for the time period its in (i think its the mid-2010s? def feels like the period of online that i was active on tumblr.)

i think what esp makes this manga interesting is how the kemoner (the animal people) interpret hitoshi (the human), and how the reader gets different takeaways from them. like this page in ch 4 with what hitoshi says vs what his expression implies

the best part about art history though is the sheer amount of funny art you can find... lemme share a few of my fav things. - winslow homer's famous for his nautical paintings... but when he was 13 he also did this awesome doodle of a dude on a rocketship crashing into a crowd of people.
