Taking out most of the ailanthus has been a huge accomplishment though, and I'm very proud of my kill rate and how precise it was too 😤 I was able to kill the ailanthus (right) while saving the black walnut (left) growing through it!
A little less than a year ago i did a basal bark treatment on as many of these as I could physically reach in my yard, since theyre also surrounded by Japanese barberry 🥴 had a 100% kill rate!! One had already fallen across the road so it was time to remove the ones next to my garden
