@ratlimit.bsky.social personally I found being 90% vegetarian was harder, because it meant I had to debate myself each time, instead of just having the choice made for me already. It also was *way* easier for friends to understand. I think this is called a "Schelling point"?

It turns out you can do quick and dirty semantic space mapping by putting tags as nodes on a force-directed graph, instead of using embeddings. Works pretty nicely for my small scale data (29 people/orgs, with tags and connections between them)
