This take sponsored by my unusual Nolan ranking; not seeing the Odyssey until next Sunday but looking forward to it. Love an epic. Don’t love IMAX but do have good seats so. Half of these I liked.
Every time I feel vaguely ok about social media after having a Good Time I do something stupid like open a player’s comments to see the top one is a “supporter” saying something outrageous and negative to the player. I’m tired man, these people aren’t normal. Toss their phones until we sort it out.
Y’all ever want to just get even more annoyed for no real reason in your spare time? Well,
Am I being weird and extra paranoid of the world or is it fundamentally strange that people post their kid’s name and approximate age and school in front of their place of residence?
Friends, loved ones, does anyone have a decent/better quality screenshot of this moment? I want to get @abigailrudkin.bsky.social to paint it for my lovely American house (only semi-joking)
Uh anyway apropos of nothing, I’m about a third of the way through this (completely familiar and completely horrifying) book and I really recommend you read it. I’ve got an audiobook from my local library. Especially, I feel, important for men to read it.
Behave. Contact in both but Kane is doing the dive prior to the contact and Cunha is still running. Kane could’ve won a penalty, but he needed to run into the contact not…dive over it.
Pausa de hidratación (the football is at present second screen content due to a constant visual presence of one fella lmao)
I missed one goal literally sitting by the screens petting my cat (who is in jail) with none of the screens fired up
Post the best picture you have ever taken of your pet if you feel like it. It’s not the one I was looking for but he looks happy
Not me really enjoying a set of essays only to flip to the author bio to see a photo of a man in an LFC top. Is right. Topics: education (k-12 thus far), creativity, racism, american culture and memory, pop culture, Black and bi-racial identity and experience
my hate review of the shrouds got knocked off my letterboxd profile to make way for my hate review of MELANIA, but I really need everyone to know that I saw MELANIA in a way that is the highlight of my life:
Across the road one of the better views tbh. What an iconic set of grounds. and what a hill.
Love nothing more than a new ground, me. Up the Reds of course but it was grand to see Dundee FC.
One of the best books I read in the second half of 2025: The Last Disco: The Story of the Stardust Tragedy by Sean Murray, Christine Bohan & Nicky Ryan Horrific story well-told. Working class Dublin mums and das relentlessly take on the state. For 43 years. YNWA.
Lovely to go to Dundee FC on a whim and see ex-Red Billy Koumetio put in a very calm and assured MOTM performance.
