Good fun running Strength and Honour at Britcon ‘Lard Workshop’. Thanks to everyone who came and played. Thanks to Don for organising it too.

I flocked up the 3mm Viking camp and it’s now looking really nice. I love the way the base tells a story and feels alive.
Viking camp for Chivalry and Honour. It probably needs a few more bases and ships as well as some flock to texture the base but it’s painted up at least! 3mm figures.
Both sides will need 3 command stands and a camp each. The Saxon command are probably best represented on foot with the standards and Wessex dragon etc.
For the Saxons at Hastings you’ll need 3 Housecarl bases with a few archers at the back, and 5-6 bases of fyrd. They might look something like this:
Yep. For Hastings you’ll need 3-4 Norman infantry units with archers and crossbows out in front and 4 cavalry bases. Something like these.
We will be running an inaugural participation game of Chivalry and Honour at Colours in Newbury on 5th September based around a battle to be decided from the Norman Conquest. Please pop by and say hello or join in and roll a few dice with us.
Leofwine’s fyrdsmen are caught out but the Norman and Breton cavalry, but he manages to retire back up the hill suffering losses. In the pursuit Eustace of Bolougne is wounded and dragged to safety.
More Chivalry and Honour playtesting tonight. It’ll be Viking battles in September ready for the Shieldwall event.

Wargames Soldiers and Strategy 141 is out with two more 2nd Punic War scenarios Ticinus River and Trebia using Strength and Honour. Along with the 4 in the Conquest - Alexander and Hannibal supplement and another 2 in Lard mag that gives you 8 scenarios for this war.

A bit more Chivalry and Honour playtesting. Not quite got the archery right yet but think we have resolved it.
Finally, the brave Sir Loin the Greedy to lead some of my Imperial Dwarfs. He carries his trusty axe “Steakmaker”. Figure by Bifrost Miniatures. He’s 28mm obviously not 3mm. Yes, I paint bigger figures too.
