The strangest thing happened when I finished my new book ‘Devil’s Wood.’
Coming up a week from Thursday. Biggest audience yet.
Long hike today from Asbury Park back to Spring Lake.
I moved to Los Angeles 45 years ago today. July 19, 1981. 12 years there, 25 in New York City, and now in rural New Jersey. What a journey.

Very good news! “Crossing out Trump’s name [on money] with a Sharpie wouldn’t make it invalid as legal tender — banks and businesses still have to accept it as long as it’s recognizable.”
Oh FFS. You think Trump and the GOP didn’t trash America and Biden on the 4th of July? No, we’re not “in a bind.” Trump is a POS and deeply un-American. Fk the WaPo.

Isn’t why all the MAGA men calm him him ”Daddy”?
Now we know why we always see people standing so far away from Trump.
Just met with wardrobe for the podcast this week.

I had no idea Courtney Love was Donald Trump’s daughter.
Inspired by Boston’s amazing victory Gardens, where there are hundreds of small plots tended by locals who pay $40 a year for them, I have added a bicycle, a hanging lamp, and a chair to our vegetable garden. I want to add a couple more chairs and an umbrella, but for now this will do.
Stop by Read Mill Books in Clinton, NJ, on Saturday June 20 and meet lots of local author! I'll be featured from 2:00 - 3:00 pm with several others, rotating all day starting at 11:00 am. 27 Center Street. (I'm also doing a self-publishing workshop there on Sunday the 28th.)
Great stories deserve great covers. #queerbooks #booksky #amwriting
Target’s “Not Proud Enough to Piss Off MAGA” display. They should just stop. It’s embarrassing for them and us. One reason I prefer Dunkin to Starbucks is that Dunkin never pretended to give a sht. I would rather be ignored than betrayed.
The writers group I run at the New Hope PA library, one of my favorites.
Great message to all the parents and their sons who don’t fit this cartoon version of “masculinity.” Haven’t we done enough damage to boys with this crap?
#wipsnips #booksky #amwriting From 'Devil's Wood,' coming out this October. A stick, a skull, a bullet hole, a curse. New Jersey is pretty haunted in these parts, rural, serene, deadly.
Book reading and event September 26. Books, art, food, wine. #NewJersey
