Before hitting the road with my quartet, Canis Major, at the end of the month, I'll be returning to Europe with Ches Smith’s Clone Row. Both Canis Major and Clone Row will also be performing at Big Ears this year. And, Ches and I will be playing with Marc Ribot's Shrek.

One week from tonight, Tomas Fujiwara and I will open for Ches Smith's Clone Row on the final date of its current tour at the Angel City Jazz Festival. A week later, we'll be playing at Centro d'Arte di Padova as part of the About Ghosts tour.

This time next week I'll be getting ready to play two shows with the Tomeka Reid Quartet with Jason Roebke and Tomas Fujiwara. We'll be at Rhizome DC on Monday and Révéler Experiences on Tuesday before heading back into the studio to record our fourth release together.
