I missed Argentina-Egypt cos of work. At first I thought "how did they throw away a 2-goal lead?". Just watched the highlights, and it's clear. If this isn't a massive fix, I don't know what is. Corruption in plain sight. An inexplicably disallowed goal, then a clear pen not given? Come on.
I didn't manage to stay up and hate watch the USA-Belgium game. But needless to say, I'm glad the Belgians absolutely smashed them. The Balogun nonsense has definitely united Europeans on this one!

Ten years ago this week, I somehow got tickets to Leicester vs Everton at the King Power. As a neutral, I witnessed football history. 5000-1 Leicester City lifting the Premier League trophy. The city partied for a year. It was insane. And now a decade later, club's a mess. Football. Bloody hell.
