This is the one my druid main is currently striving for. Definitely says "friend of nature" doesn't it?

Who knows what is hiding behind this dead eyed metallic mask? Feathers??possibly?? flare out in all directions from both helm and shoulders in a glowing shade of nuclear-waste green, and there is a round green "GO" button in an entirely different clashing shade in the dead center of the chest.

Look, if I could describe this I would, but picture some sort of 1950's alien invader crossed with a deep sea diver maybe. Is laser steampunk a thing? There are red lasers shooting horizontally out of the shoulders for some reason. And an opaque red circle where the face opening on the weirdly finned and antennaed?? helm should be.

I lived in this house for 11 years dreaming that someday I'd have flowers planted where there was just dirt and concrete. It was never the best time to do it. Then I got my diagnosis and realized there was no "better time" coming, that whatever life I wanted to live had to be now.

Friend sent me this just now.

Oh no, my wonder is not "childlike." My whimsy is old My frivolity is steeped in ancient wisdom.

I have *earned* this wonderment. I have protected it for decades against a society that tells me constantly that it should not belong to me.

I was born with wonder, and I have carried it, against all odds, with me through adulthood. It is not "childlike" by now it is Older than me.
