I said in Spring it was a warm Winter. Now at transition of July to August, I'm going to say it has been an unusually cool summer. We usually get a couple days (in July) where it's over 115-F but not this year. August brings the monsoon rains so it'll be getting cooler as we approach Sept. #nudist
The small creek in the photo I shared yesterday widens into the first image here. A couple hundred yards down & being the only water source, it empties into this neck-deep swimming hole. The swimming hole is located directly beneath Cathedral Rock. Cathedral Rock is one of earth's official vortex's.
𝓞𝓪𝓴 𝓒𝓻𝓮𝓮𝓴, 𝓢𝓮𝓭𝓸𝓷𝓪, 𝓐𝓻𝓲𝔃𝓸𝓷𝓪. I've been gone a few days — I needed the GPS of my final resting place to add to my Will. I knew where it was but nobody else would. Dan and I chose this spot for ourselves 20 yrs ago; he's already there now. We loved sitting on this tree branch watching the water go by.
Funny. No clicks, no likes, and no comments from any of the critics on yesterday's article. I guess nobody noticed the image's citation either - which kind of makes the point.
I turned the oven on & baked an apple pie. This is the coolest July 4th temps I can remember for more than 20 yrs. Today will be 97° and tomorrow will be 100° That's at least 10° lower than what's been our history. I looked it up and found this is the coldest July on record here in Vegas since 1918.
