im trying very hard to wrap my head around the flavor of this card and its just not working at all. like at the very least i think the sacrifice order should b reversed. caster sacs then opponent sacs. itd make less sense as a magic card but it makes no fucking sense to the story of this episode

trying the yugioh (duel monsters) anime subbed for the first time (ive watced the 4kids dub twice) and going to it from the original series the animation feels a lot worse and the voices sound a lot worse.. also anzu and honda r so nothing. but the writing still feels way better
im giving up on the original series here. i think they do a lot more w some ideas than the manga does in interesting ways sometimes, but its still a single chapter of manga being stretched into a 24 minute cartoon and it drags badly
