Izzy was lucky, all things considered, that Stede waited until he was definitively over 18 before starting his assault upon Izzy’s sanity. But just because Stede was legally an adult didn’t mean it would be right for Izzy to look at him like that. It wouldn’t be.

The problem was, Izzy’s bedroom was on the right side of his house, and Stede’s on the left, both on the second floor. And the houses were not very far apart. With the lights on at night, Izzy’s view into Stede’s room was absolute. Stede must be able to say the same thing, except he never seemed to look out of his fucking window. Izzy would’ve just kept his blinds closed all the fucking time, to avoid the problem altogether, but he had plants in his room that would die without the sunlight. He at least made sure to be careful that his blinds were solidly closed any time he wasn’t fully dressed.
Stede did not have any such qualms.

Shane almost misses the stench of a cigarette beside him after sex.

Shane has never smoked a cigarette in his life, but right now he’s craving the smell. Craving the specific ones Ilya smokes. It’s pathetic.

Shane is sitting up against his headboard, but he’s not alone in bed. Miles, Rose’s actor friend, lays next to him, eyes closed as he relaxes in the afterglow. For some reason, Shane doesn’t feel much of an afterglow himself.

After Rose breaks up with Shane, he sleeps with Miles, but all he can think about afterwards is Ilya.
