Out here at @liretro.bsky.social with the very last of our M2 Blu-rays, t-shirts and these film prints of game hardware in the style of our b-roll!
Saw this game on Steam called Titanium Court. I swear that’s @gamesack.net on the title screen
Hyper Duel for the Sega Saturn has been at the top of my “grail” list for 6 or so years. I mentioned this during a recent episode of the DF Retro Super Show and a listener reached out to sell it for an extremely reasonable price (still the third most I’ve ever paid for a game).
Fascinated by the “Games to Wishlist” section on the PS Store. 15 out of 20 are these AI games made by “CGI LAB SRL” and have no screenshots. The only one that does is “Blackjack Descent” and it also has an unintentionally funny trailer to go with it.
Playing through Lost Planet (XB360) and I think this might be the worst character design I've seen in quite awhile.
Look for our yearly “Games We Played” episode dropping tomorrow!
Here's a couple of behind the scenes photos from when we filmed some interviews for Pixels to Pages: The Story of EGM . Watch it here if you haven't! www.youtube.com/watch?v=E010...
We're playing some Analogue 3D on our Twitch channel! Come hang out while we play some N64 games, answer questions and test some stuff for ya! www.twitch.tv/mylifeingaming
Also, since Baby Steps doesn't have much of its own soundtrack, I recommend loading up either apple music or spotify to create a soundtrack. You never know when a song might come up that fits the mood or emboldens you to go for it... like when Sigur Rós' "Hoppípolla" came on after a fall
He did! We had a bit of a hiatus of trying because it was so hot during the middle of the summer (doesn't bother me, but everyone else in my family hates it) - but all it took was getting out there one more time.
For as much as I went to arcades and stuff when I was really young, it wasn’t until I played Space Harrier that I truly fell in love with games.
The 1980 Popeye live action movie is way nuttier than I remembered
Huh?!? Shredder's Revenge is native 1080p on the Switch 2 screen! The the pixel art is designed for 270p, which is a 4x scale to 1080p. So while it looks good on the 720p Switch 1 screen, it's not perfect. @tributegames.com how did you get this to not be 1080p to 720p to 1080p on Switch 2?
My daughter made this in her art class over the last month of school and I can’t stop laughing. Maybe we need to make a pillow version
Any YouTubers out release multi-hour “compilation” videos of your stuff? How have these performed this year? We had 3 that raked in the views for the last several years (1+ mil views ea) but around late Feb, it all went off a cliff. Wondering if YT is targeting these types of videos specifically.
Yes, now that it’s out and is more of a competing device, we will do a video on it. Shot some b-roll of the analog board on Monday
Glad to see my favorite recurring cone back in Yakuza 5 and 0
To the commentor who referred to this as the "Marseilleipede"... I love you.
Funny to see the AI generated comment responses on YT talk crap about YouTube (I clicked on the response to see the whole thing)
Whoa, tried out Parking Garage Rally Circuit on Steam and it’s incredible. They really went for it with that Ska soundtrack, but that option menu got me good
