“I brought you these flowers, Miss Rey,” Temiri said proudly as he presented them over the counter. “They’re from your boyfriend. Kylo Ren,” he said in a stage-whisper. He must have learned that from Poe.

Rey winced inwardly as guilt squeezed her insides. She really shouldn’t be allowing Temiri to continue this game. Unfortunately, for the moment, it was necessary.

Well, maybe not necessary but definitely convenient.

It’s been a twisty and turny #quickiepride journey, but currently I’m working on a ren faire clydethree story (Clyde, Ophelia, Fran, and Phillip, though mostly focused on Ophelia and Fran in this particular circumstance)

Phee, this year’s Captured Princess, was removing her makeup in the small bathroom of their trailer home for the next month. The world outside the trailer was hushed in the twilight, the sound of frogs and crickets filtering in on a warm breeze. She could hear Fran, or the Pirate Queen to the festival-goers, come in the door.
