Says the man whose party has been attacking LGBTQ people…. The far right have more in common with islamists than they’d care to admit. Meanwhile the VAST MAJORITY of Muslims who aren’t full of violent hate understand what it’s like to be targeted which is why there’s commonality with lgbtq ppl.
Coming up on LBC from 6pm (25.07.26): - Is No10 North a gimmick? (And if it is, is that necessarily a bad thing?) - 78% of the population back a wealth tax - how would it work, on the ground? - What’s it like being a Muslim living in the U.K. in 2026 with hate crimes on the rise?
Paper review on Sky this morning we tackled Burnham approving North Sea drilling🤬, Badenoch’s comments on Gaza being a ‘backbench obsession’ as opposed to a ‘real’ issue 🙄, AI gone rogue 😱 and also my rogue bra 😂.
After being told there is no way to make billionaires and trillionaires pay more tax I then had the word ‘growth’ shouted at me repeatedly on tonight’s Cross Question on @lbc.co.uk - which if I remember rightly was Liz Truss’ buzzword/strategy and that didn’t end well.
Coming up on LBC from 6pm (18.07.26): - Burnham says he wants to return to Labour values. But what are they? And is that the same as what they should be? - What did going to uni give you (other than a degree)? - Have you fallen into a wellness wormhole?
Coming up on LBC from 6pm (11.07.26): - What stance do you want Burnham’s govt to take on Israel? - Why has net zero become so politically toxic? - Would there be less racism in the U.K. if British Empire was taught in schools?
There are 23.5 million 18-49 year olds in the U.K. and 22 million over 50s. Less than 50% of 18-49 year olds have been turning out to vote whereas 75% of over 50s generally do. This is why the country looks how it does. We need to get young people voting.
To the point later made by Nick that I had ‘just assumed’ if a disclosure was made to parents that their child is questioning their gender the parent would ‘automatically start beating them’ …… (This published by the National Library of Medicine)
Obviously I’m not a fan of Rupert Lowe but you do have to respect the sick burns he’s delivered today….
Fact checking Farage’s claim that Reform are ‘comfortably at the top of the opinion polls ’ amongst male gay and trans voters….
Makeup shouldn’t need an explanation but also know I was walking the pride parade earlier today….
Coming up on LBC from 6pm (04.07.26): - Does Burnham have his priorities right? - How can we stand up to tech giants and reclaim our privacy? - Pride - why it’s still so necessary in 2026.
Coming up on LBC from 6pm (27.06.26) - Will Mahmoud’s latest asylum reform plans work (make the system better and also appeal to those on the Labour left)? - Will Burnham bring about the ‘vibe shift’ the govt so desperately need? - What should be done to make Britain more resilient to extreme heat?
Join me from 6pm on LBC (20.06): - Reform in Makerfield- Was it the wrong candidate or does the nation now reject their divisive politics? - Social media ban - does it actually play into the hands of Big Tech? - After Pochin’s misjudged comments, why is still so hard for some ppl to understand DV?
Breaking - Michael Deacon of the telegraph issues ‘everyone stop saying ‘her penis’’ challenge …
Farage no doubt currently deciding which of his two disaster modes to deploy a) hide and hope everyone forgets about this in a few weeks b) find some implausible way to try and blame this on Muslims.
Join me from 6pm on LBC (Sat 13th June): - How will Starmer be remembered as a PM? - What’s the real cost of cutting welfare for warfare? - What did you wish you’d been taught at school?
Nigel Farage has confirmed during an interview with LBC that one of his first priorities were he Prime Minster would be to scrap the Human Rights Act. Here are the rights British people would instantly lose if he did that…..
Councillors from the same party who are banning promotion of International Women’s Day in libraries are also saying this. I cannot think of a neater example of why gender critical ‘feminism’ is a massive own goal.
I can’t work out if this comment on my insta is deeply unfunny satire or an actual human expressing sincerely held (gross) views…. ?
You know you’re doing something right when you attract contributions to your show of this quality - listen to this brilliant text sent in by Carl in response to why the notion of ‘two tier policing’ is gaining traction….
Join me from 6pm on LBC (Sat 6th June): - Will the past week cost Reform some of their support? - How do we get US politicians and commentators to stop interfering in our politics? - Is Gareth Southgate right that boys and girls should be taught differently?
Just a reminder that when huge swathes of media were pretending that all Gen Z boys/men were into far right politics it was presented as a phenomenon we were supposed to examine very earnestly to understand their concerns and challenges….
