"I…" Dimitri looks at her hands, twisting around themselves in her lap. "I need a bra."

First, Felix feels herself blush. She does not need to be thinking about Dimitri's breasts, though they are distracting, and in the cold winter air in Felix's drafty old house sometimes her nipples get hard and it makes Felix think about the way Dimitri's mouth opened against hers and—

Secondly, though, Dimitri doesn't really need a bra, probably. Her breasts are small, smaller than they were in high school when Dimitri was well fed and solidly muscled, and while Felix can tell Dimitri has breasts under her tank tops, a loose t-shirt or hoodie still more or less hides them.

But if Dimitri wants a bra, Felix will get Dimitri a bra. She hears Sylvain make a whip-cracking noise in her head and fights back a wince.

"You okay, boss?" Sylvain says.
"I feel odd," Dimitri says faintly. He looks at Sylvain, and his nostrils flare in a way Sylvain usually associates unpleasantly with alphas who want him. "You smell different today. It's a strange cologne. I don't dislike it, though." He looks up when Sylvain doesn't reply.
"Sylvain?"
If Sylvain wasn't so sure Dimitri were a null, he would say Dimitri was going into rut.
Whatever's happening to Dimitri, though, is scaring him. It'a scaring Sylvain, too.
"I think I should summon Mercedes," Sylvain says, and stands.

Anxiety is rolling off Dimitri in waves. "I...all right," Dimitri says.
"Sit down," Sylvain says. "Let me send an owl down to the hospital."
Dimitri scowls, and opens his mouth, but then he closes it. "Very well, Sylvain," he says. He looks around his office like a cornered animal.
His nostrils flare again, and this time Sylvain doesn't think of an alpha, but an injured boar, capable of great violence in its terror.
He nearly sighs. He spends too much time with Felix. "Make some tea," he suggests gently, and starts a fire for him. "I'll be right back."

wip wed from the flayncedes. the great rodrigue-mercedes areadbhar heist

Flayn wasn't used to the glorification of the relics, but Areadbhar wasn't too bad as far as relics went; at least it didn't wriggle like the Lance of Ruin or Crusher. It wasn't until they all gathered after dinner in the knight's hall— minus Dimitri, of course-and Gilbert asked Lord Rodrigue how he got Areadbhar out of the castle that Flayn realized it was more than just a relic. Even Cornelia saw it as a symbol of the Blaiddyd family, and its removal from the castle represented a Faerghan denial of Imperial control.
Lord Rodrigue tapped the side of his nose.
"Well, I didn't do it alone,'
" he said. "I had an
assistant. Mistress Martritz?"
Mercedes' eyes went wide. "Oh, I hardly did anything!"
"Mercie!" Annette said. "You didn't mention this!"

"Neither did you," Felix said, narrowing his eyes at his father.
"It wasn't much, really," Mercedes insisted.
"She got me into the castle after I'd been removed and effectively banned from re-entering," Lord Rodrigue said. "One of the healers in the castle is a specialist in respiratory conditions, who takes patients from the city as well as performing her usual duties as a castle healer. Mercedes got me an appointment with him and escorted me in."
"Were you sick?" Caspar asked, nose wrinkling, and then he said, "Oh! Ohhhh."
"The hard part was getting back out again," Mercedes said. "Lord Rodrigue did that all on his own."

"You provided ample distraction when you
'lost' your patient and made a fuss," Lord Rodrigue said. "No one wanted a potentially contagious commoner wandering near the royal quarters. Cornelia especially did not want that."
Mercedes smiled. "Meanwhile the 'potentially contagious commoner' was sneaking out through servants' passages." She winked at Flayn, who realized her mouth was hanging open. She closed it.
Gilbert's eyebrows went up. "You're familiar with the back passages, Lord Rodrigue?"
Sylvain laughed. "Any kid who grows up in the castle is," he said. "Even if that kid is a Blaiddyd. I assume Your Grace and the former king spent time in them?"

Rodrigue's sharp smile softened. "Many hours," he said. "Cornelia has never bothered to learn the details of the servants' passages, though she has excellent maps of the sewers and catacombs."
"She scolded me quite severely when I told her the patient must have gone home without me," Mercedes said, and giggled. "I was a little terrified, but I told her who my father was and she let me go. He had a contract with the castle, providing upholstery fabrics."
"Heh," Hapi said, mouth curling. "Churchgirl's a spy. Who'd have thunk it."

if these people have actually played azure moon they don't notice the details but...the dimicedes a support? dimitri's solo end card, which involves the people in governance in ways v different from faerghus' history? the way his experience in slums much older than cornelia influences his policy?

After his coronation, Dimitri spent his life reforming and ruling justly over Fódlan. He focused particularly on improving living situations for orphans and improving foreign relations. He was known for listening intently to the voices of all, and for instituting a new form of government in which the people were free to be active participants. He lived for his people and alongside them, and was thusly dubbed the Savior King.

I lived in the slums for a long time, and I saw how the people there suffered from poverty and the ravages of war. There must be something I can do to save them.
Strive to change Fódlan from the ground up.
