Playing a bit of Metal Eden, which is a super solid little AA Doom Eternal-like. You play a disposable combat doll girl who can Morph Ball and it's all very pretty... But also the protagonist is known as a "Hyper Unit" and every 30 seconds someone abbreviates it to just call her a "Hyper."
Zalmoxis is not a particularly wet mech, despite literally having fluid as part of its core design. Egregore on the other hand, despite being made of wax, is a sort of ontologically wet mech.
I am very excited about purchasing this 1989 American Library Association poster that just says "SEX"on it.
Movie Night with the gang this week was Johnny Mnemonic in Black and White, which honestly DOES feel from toe to tip how the movie was always intended. The shot composition was clearly made for it and the special effects hold up much better this way. It's also just an insanely relatable film.
Golden Kamuy, like so many things, WOULD be better if it was primarily about gay women instead of gay men, but it does feature transfem Hannibal Lector, who at one point eats (part of) a central protagonist's brain, so it's still pretty good.
