I had a wonderful time marching in the Dominican Day Parade today! 
It was great to celebrate the Dominican community and honor the traditions, history, and culture they contribute to every corner of New York.

I had a great time today at the 36th Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in Queens! Every year, this festival honors Qu Yuan, who bravely stood up against injustice. It was fun to celebrate with community and cheer on my office’s team, the Scales of Justice!

For far too long, social media companies have used powerful and addictive algorithms to keep young people scrolling. Not anymore. Our SAFE for Kids Act will protect kids from the potential harms of social media.

The Voting Rights Act was born on the Edmund Pettus Bridge when giants of the civil rights movement fought for our right to vote.   Today marks 61 years since the Voting Rights Act was passed. We must honor their legacy by defending our right to make our voices heard at the polls.

Two Denny’s franchise owners ignored New York wage laws and failed to pay over 1,900 workers who kept these restaurants running through long days and late nights in Western New York.   Today in Buffalo, we announced that my office secured $440,000 for these hardworking employees.

Today, I joined @governor.ny.gov at the Brooklyn STEAM Center to announce the final rules for our nation-leading SAFE for Kids Act. We spoke with students, parents, and local leaders about how these rules will limit addictive social media features and help keep kids safe online.

Public servants shouldn't have to pass a political loyalty test to earn the loan forgiveness they were promised. My office won't tolerate attacks on our dedicated public servants. Ever.

We just won a court order stopping the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros. while our lawsuit continues.     We’re going to keep fighting to keep costs down for consumers, protect jobs, and stop this illegal merger.

This week, my office sued to block the illegal merger between Paramount and Warner Bros that would raise costs for consumers and put jobs nationwide at risk. We're fighting to keep the market fair and protect the industry New Yorkers love.

We arrested Mark Salkey after he stole the home of an elderly woman living with dementia. For many New Yorkers, home ownership represents years of hard work. It's the American dream. I'll keep standing up to deed thieves so this dream can remain a reality.

I rallied on the steps of Queens Borough Hall to condemn the Supreme Court's decision to strip TPS from our Haitian and Syrian neighbors. New York's Haitian and Syrian communities are a crucial part of making our state what it is today. I’ll never stop fighting for them.

This morning I joined @mayor.nyc.gov as he signed an executive order to protect workers from the summer's extreme heat. Workers are the backbone of our city and their protection cannot depend on the forecast. It must be built into public policy. Now, we're doing just that.

I was in Harlem to celebrate Juneteenth and talk about my commitment to protecting voting rights for all Americans. The brave Selma marchers fought to secure equal participation in our democracy. Now, it's our turn to deliver on that promise.

On Juneteenth, we remember the struggles and honor the sacrifices of our ancestors. While our past paved the way to the progress we've reached today, we must also recommit to continue fighting for our future and true freedom and equality for all.

I was proud to celebrate the opening of the Syracuse Lead Freedom House today, a facility that will shelter and support families displaced by lead hazards in their homes. My office funded $110,000 for this project and the organizations helping to protect our kids and families.

Happy Juneteenth Buffalo! It was great to be back to celebrate freedom and history with Buffalo for this year's Juneteenth parade!

Today, I was proud to stand with Congressman Pat Ryan and Planned Parenthood in Kingston to say in New York, the right to choose is not up for debate. I will always fight to protect reproductive freedoms in our state because it's your body, and it should always be your choice.
