My book, The Sunken The Adored, releases in August! It takes place during an oppressively hot summer in Venice. Mercy, freed from enslavement under horrific circumstances finds a new decadent life dripping in equal turns of delight and terror. Preorder it. I'm supposed to suggest Barnes and Noble.

After 40ish hours this painting is finally done. Title: Is It Good Friend: The Male Loneliness Epidemic Medium: watercolor and graphite on paper, 18x24

A watercolor painting featuring a man on his knees with his hands collapsed in prayer before him he is being forced to look up words by a mattress creature that is holding his eyes open. The monster is a mutation of his own penis. The penis monster is very muscular and is forcing his eyes open while dribbling come into his mouth. The man has his tongue stuck out accepting this offering. On the man's cuff links of his white shirt is a cross he is wearing black slacks and gray shoes. He is kneeling on a American flag that is wrapped up around him. The wall behind them is green antique looking wallpaper that is splattered with something yellow. On the ground under one of the floorboards that have been pulled up is the back side of a woman who has been sexually assaulted. The floorboards are coming up and it looks like she has been stuffed under one of them haphazardly.

Johnny Thunders just makes me think of this book that I found abandoned on a ferry between Italy and Turkey the same summer I found Lady Chatterley's Lover abandoned on a shelf in Venice.
