ethics committee soso, forever stuck in a remote research unit and a walking example of why not to pilot them for too long

it's less of a health thing and more of a capability thing: remote research units aren't meant to be actual second bodies so it's discouraged to pilot these for more than a few hours #ONAHOTECH
the ethics committee advises researchers not to customize their remote research units too much as they're only meant to be piloted for several hours -- but they get it, though, it's really fun
ONAHOTECH occasionally does research projects that involve retrofitting consumer products for testing -- sometimes cleaning robots or more customer-friendly designs
before the standardization of remote research unit parts there were some really interesting designs for certain components
ONAHOTECH will sometimes get commissioned to do parts for clone/replacement bodies which usually needs a different, custom chassis
it's a callsign! you're an applied researcher if you're not piloting a remote unit
putting this outside of the QRP chain: ONAHOTECH is a far-far-science-fiction-future sexual health company! their products tend to fall under industrial applications rather than consumers though
go ahead and design your own research units! the only stipulations are that the ears are mandatory (and can come in different shapes) and the exposed mid-torso hazard piece should be part of the design
remote research units are not available for consumer use but they do have a large variety of attachments and body types available
