Took the first steps towards a massive project and finished the plans for my new art desk. I adapted the legendary Kem Weber Animation desk to suit my own needs, like adding a cabinet for my PC and a space to mount a big screen. Will still look like a legit Disney Desk though.

This is my favorite thing i've ever animated to this point. You have no idea how happy I am with Fran's bounce. like, I got it animated correctly on the first try. Also the implications are devilish.

Editing episode 4 now. Looking like either the 19th or more likely the 26th for the release, which is great as it means only 2 months between episodes, not 3. Really excited as there's a few jokes in this episode Im super proud of.

Working on a skateland pic of Chrissy skitchin an 83 dodge, and this morning I realized the background fence is out of proportion and needs a do-over. Went for a bike ride and what do i find? The exact model car parked near a fence. I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE IN REAL LIFE! It's like i manifested it!
Finally I almost have a functioning website! Still need to polish it up a bunch, add a hit counter and guestbook. Currently only have the 2019 skateland pages up. I will link it once it's ready for prime time. I think I might post skateland up there a day earlier than here to drive traffic.

Installed the speedo and finally took the 'Atomic Wrangler' out for a ride. Seat is springy but I keep bottoming out. Kept a nice pace of 10mph. A little tough only having one gear. Forks are fucked though, you can see the bent steerer tube. Might replace. She's had an accident in the past for sure.
Tried again. Did a quick sketch-over of a TailSpin frame and figured out what I missed; characters had droopy shoulders. Re-drew Fran with this and now I feel she's a lot closer to what I'm going for. Still needs some refinement though. (BG is borrowed from the Smurfs). I wonder what she's pondering
Fanny and Co but it's a cell from 1987 instead of 1957. I feel like i'm so close to nailing that disney afternoon style but i'm just a tad off. Used reference from Care bears, Rescue Rangers and Tailspin. any critique?
My Summer Car, er, Bike! I was going to christen her 'Fran' but after revealing the original tank logos under the respray I'm calling her 'The Atomic Wrangler'. She's a 1948 Columbia Sterling I got for $25. Wheels and fenders came off a modern bike I got for $15. Rack $5, bolts $5.
Workin on the bottom half. Added double spiked belts to the jump boots today, and recently added 20 or so patches to the front of the pants. Finished the belt finally which came out very nice. still a lot of work to go.
I need to draw these two getting high again, it's been a while. Happy funny number day. (Skateland #18, June 2019)
