And here is the final new friend for the time being! 👻 I hope you all enjoyed this lore drop for Luna and also the characters for my channel. I love having a variety of characters so you can expect more in the future too ♡

Ittan Momen is a long ghostly cloth. But, he was not always ghostly. Once a regular piece of cloth, he was abandoned and unused at a kimono factory. Unable to bear the thought of no longer being needed, one day he dejectedly hovered over to a nearby riverbank to sulk. Over days and days of sulking, his once normal body turned more and more transparent, as if he would disappear at any moment. Luna found the silly, pathetic creature one day while wandering off the beaten path at Brinewater Springs. She picked him up and wrung him out. Knowing that Ittan Momen typically are quite deadly yokai, she at first kept her guard up, with the flick of her wrist creating a ghostly blue flame in her hands to show that she too can be quite powerful. However she quickly noticed that no such action was needed, for this oddly ghostly Ittan Momen was nothing more than a sweet and bubbly little guy. Ittan Momen often helps out with odds and ends tasks around the house, such as grabbing items from tall and hard to reach shelves, and he is elated to find his purpose again.

A new friend has appeared 🏮 here’s some information on the lantern yokai who has been, quite literally, watching over my streams!

Chochin Obake, or ‘paper lantern ghost,’ was once fixed to a ramen stall down a dark, narrow street. Due to a tough season of bad business and a lack of customers, the ramen shop unfortunately closed down for good. But Chochin Obake remained tacked to the stall, unable to move. Over time, the lantern started to split, revealing an eye! Most Chochin Obake split twice, once for an eye and once for a mouth, creating a quite frightening appearance. However, this Chochin Obake chooses to keep his mouth shut so as to not alarm passerbys, hoping to one day be free from the old ramen stall. One night, Luna strolled by and happened to notice the yokai. She picked him up to light her way. She placed him in her home ever since, and often takes him out for late night strolls for both protection and light. Chochin Obake, despite never showing any expressive emotions, could not be happier to have found his new home.

Next is my lil ghost cat, Lavender! She is inspired by my modded Stardew Valley farm, where I have a ghost cat in game.

On a cold winter morning as Luna tended to Nightshade farm, a little ghost cat named Lavender appeared sleeping in a little ball in the snow, not bothered in the least. She accepted all of the love and pets from Luna, and since then, they have not been separated. Lavender enjoys spending most days lazing around without a care in the world. But sometimes, her help is needed with either delivering messages or shop orders to others. Once summoned for assistance, she springs into action! …only to nap for three days after.

Continuing on with my character lore, here’s more information on my little buddy!

Little Buddy has been by Luna’s side since she visited Inkopolis for the very first time. He tagged alongside Luna after a long first ever Grizzco shift, and hasn’t left since. He’s watched her grow from apprentice to profreshional, from C rank to X, and from lil baby trislosher to tristringer player. He’s a bit of a trickster, often pulling pranks and causing trouble here and there. And he never says no to a tasty treat! Give him something yummy and he’ll stick by your side always.

Almost two months ago, I had my very first vtuber debut. On stream, I dropped a lot of lore regarding my oc, Luna, and some of the other little characters I have on my channel. Since I don’t want that lore to be lost to time, I’m sharing it with you all here. Here’s the story behind Luna 🌙

Description: Luna is an octoling residing on the outskirts of Splatsville. She is a keeper of yokai and spirits, often housing creatures of all kinds that pass her by requiring care or a place to stay. She works many odds and ends jobs in order to support herself and all of her little creatures. She runs a shop, called Omamori, where she sells many little trinkets. She sells freshly baked goods and brewed teas at a bakery, and also tends to crops on a farm called Nightshade farm. She is often a bit distant at first to others, unsure if they would be afraid of her frequent spirit guests. And others are often afraid to approach her due to the horns on her head, which at first glance may appear to be just a pair of lil devil horns. But upon closer inspection, others are often alarmed to realize that they are indeed fused to her head. There are a lot of little mysteries about her that are hard to describe as she does not quite understand them fully herself. However, once you get to know Luna, she's a soft hearted and kind individual. When not working and caring for little friends, she can often be found attached to her tristringer in the lobby of Splatsville, or falling asleep with a book and a pot of tea at her kotatsu.
