Been listening to a lot of Billy Joel lately, and I've discovered I can no longer listen to "Keeping the Faith" without hearing Tim Robinson say, "I used to be a real piece of shit."
It might have been a mistake on my partner's part to let me message their sons directly.
Listening to Steve Earle. No matter how many times I hear The Mountain, the ending of this song always chills me to my bones.
THEM: A writer must have empathy for their main characters. ME: Fuck this irredeemable motherfucker. (Art by @gavinpsmith.bsky.social from TMNT: The Hunger, coming in September)
Absolutely amazing that this is a headline in my local paper and not @theonion.com.
I don't want to second guess Will Shortz, but I would have gone with a different city.
Wow, David Boreanez is selling the hell out of the new Rockford Files! I fucking love it when the network has a mandate for a certain tone in their intellectual properties. "The type of IP that is perfect to put out at this particular time and space?" Fuck yeah, count me in!
His aorta had the word "antifa" written on it in marker.
Introduced the kids to Godzilla last week and they really loved it, so their mom bought them some toys and then they wanted to make movies. At the end, you can see the little skyscrapers we built out of cardboard. Her nine-year-old brother whispering "Rapunzel!" LOL. Sorry we cut off "The End."
Whoever made this flyer thought that midnight was at twelve pm, not 12 am.
Nothing but pluck, common sense and the equivalent of a $40,000 loan from his dad in today's dollars.
Just a little bit of fun psychological warfare against a nine year old planned for tomorrow.
Watching the lion king for the first time with the four year old, and holy cow, I was NOT prepared for the nazi imagery in be prepared!
I've seen a lot of people saying Alpha's narration in Power Rangers: Green #1 is a reference to the show airing on tuesday and...yeeeeah. yeeeeah! I definitely knew that! It's not a coincidence! (Honestly, I'm so allergic to that kind of meta reference that if I'd known, I would have changed it).
I was over here minding my own business when I was asked to play the grandpa doll, and then immediately told that grandpa is in a coma so I can't talk. Roxie and I are both trying to figure out what to think of this.
Wrote this twelve years ago and it's still one of my favorite scenes in my work.
Remind me to talk about this when i'm not falling asleep.
...season one, Tommy. You didn't notice because you were quite dramatic, yourself. @gustaffovargas.bsky.social @eduke.bsky.social @teaberryblue.net @ariyarwood.bsky.social @boom-studios.com
I wrote a comic that featured Christian Louboutin in the Marvel universe, Zendaya and I are equally cool.
When I decide I'm done working for the day, and then less than two hours later I'm writing or lettering or etc again. (this is about me having unhealthy work habits, not about deadlines)
This woman was sitting in her car next to the only empty spot. She gave me the evil eye as I was parking, then maintained eye contact while I opened my car door as narrowly as I could and slid out like Flat Stanley. Went in, got a soda. She hadn't left or reparked so we did it again in reverse.
This also led to Baby's First Experience of Bashfully Asking the Publisher "could you put the full name on there, though?" Which they immediately did. I think I'll probably be having that conversation a lot for a while, haha.
Proud to have been a member of the IDW family for 15 years and counting.
Hello, Comics! After years of thinking and five years after coming out as non-binary, I’m changing my professional name. Going forward, I’ll be using: Pallie Paul Allor You can call me Pallie or Pal (or Paul...but why?). Some credits will still say Paul Allor for a while, and that’s okay. (1/3)
