There was a few moments this morning where I was the only person in the big lake and I truly did feel like I was embracing my cryptid calling

There’s still a heatwave which means yes I AM allowed to go to work looking like a Wall Street financier at any given 3am prior to 2008 (I’m wearing a TIE, that’s office appropriate!)
I’m only 2 pages in but this is EXACTLY what I was hoping it would be (who could have foreseen that an obsession with cyberpunk would lead to a fascination with the internet & cyberfeminism? Who?)
Am going through the miscellaneous bag of paperwork that lives in the corner of my flat, have found an old uni exam where proofreading was part of the assignment My favourite part is where I’ve checked if a spelling “looks right” on the back of the paper It’s nice to know I’m still the same
I guess one key distinction between dayjob comics and small-press comics is that for small press comics I can use whatever colour palette I want on the spreadsheets (did I mention Adapt or Die is INCREDIBLY sapphic/queer?)
May and June books are in the same post because I clearly forgot last month and also the reading thing has slowed all the way down as I’ve finally gotten single-mindedly into working on projects again, oops 🥲😅
