It’s small, but I really like this shot from the new Resident Evil Movie trailer. Something about it feels like I just stumbled across a weapon in one of the games. Idk if this is remaking an animation or a shot from the games, but it just feels familiar

Progress was made today!! The Panasonic Q turns on, and it outputs video! The disc tray opens, but won’t close, so I’ve got a ways to go in fixing that still. If i disassemble to system and put a game into it, then it does read the disc and plays great!

I’m not seeing anything internally that would explain why she wouldn’t turn on, but I’ve cleaned a bunch of connectors and reassembled (mostly) let’s see if she boots!
Found this ground connector laying on the bottom of the system. Not connected to anything. That’s cool
Taking the entire disk drive out so I can replace those rails. Thankfully all the flex cables look intact
Found the source of the rattling sound inside the system. These disk drive rails are fragile as hell so I’m shocked it’s not more broken
