If you knew the extent of his reactivity when I adopted him, I hope you share my pride for him. I wasn’t sure he’d ever be capable of doing things like this. He couldn’t even see other dogs or people without having a meltdown. We worked so hard to build his trust and confidence. Today was amazing.
It’s midnight but I’m still reeling. Smitty went to a dog park today and had a good experience. And afterwards sat on a restaurant patio, took a treat from a waitress and did so well that the restaurant gave him and his buddy bandanas. I want to cry.
