Y'all, I have GOTTA shout out the artist for this story episode, Yusuke Osawa, who wrote and illustrated an excellent Spider-Man manga called "Fake Red," and any Spider-Fan would be doing themselves a disservice by not reading it.
Supergirl (2026) Sure stalled this long enough. I told myself I wanted to read the comic first, but I'm coming to terms with my inherent disinterest. And I feel a little bad that I don't have much more interesting to say than the comic comparison. It's not a "bad movie," but it is *not* the comic.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (2021-2022) There is such a strong draw to how low-key and (for want of a better term) down to Earth this story is. "Quiet but heavy" is how I would describe the experience. Add onto that such beautiful art, and this is one of those books you can recommend to anyone.
Genshin Impact Chapter V (2024-2025) I FEEL LIKE A SUPERHERO Thus far, the most epic chapter in the Archon Quest without a doubt. And it felt so celebratory at that. A story of war, triumph, making friends, bettering yourself, living for the future and saving the day. NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE
The deli that I used to work at once had a number system where the customer drew a ticket and the number would appear on a monitor above. They retired that system after a while but they kept the monitor and never turned it off so now this is always hanging over the deli.
You got me curious and I think Betten Court really has only drawn Tsuyu once.
Every time I see the Megumi Potential Man image I think about how they didn't just attach his head to Superman's body. It is specifically the DC One Million future version of Superman. And I can't help but wonder if any thought went into that half of it. Is he a fraud, too?

Loose ranking of every Sentry comic because I have some ability to do that now.
The Sentry (2026) This comic is the best the Sentry has been in so long, maybe since the beginning. Paul Jenkins is back to give the character an introspective voice only he could provide, and it results in a powerful, emotionally mature messaging that show us that his struggle is still poignant.
The Sentry (2023-2024) This kinda rocked! I wish it was longer but given the length the individual issues are paced nicely, and yeah, it's not a bad origin story. I'm now begging Solarus to be in other things because she deserves a longer series to prove she can be a cool addition to the universe.
Annihilation: Scourge (2019) I'm realizing this series didn't really go anywhere. But it is fun! You don't need much knowledge on the characters backgrounds, it explains that well enough and it's easy to jump into. Which is great because all the characters are cool and seeing them interact is nice.
The Sentry (2018) What an insane direction to take the character. By which I mean edgy. It takes the mythos of the Sentry in a depressing, down-to-earth turn. It's not badly written, though, it's rather interesting. Just a shame the ending didn't get explored much for reasons that aren't its fault.

The Sentry: Fallen Sun (2010) Always unsure about putting one-shots on these threads but I want my Sentry reading on the record. The farewell funeral is presented nicely, it's good to see Paul Jenkins work on the Sentry... But there's a couple *really* weird parts in there that make me side-eye it.
Dark Avengers (2009-2010) Ehh... Little disappointing, honestly. This series may be a bit too short to fully embrace its concept, and you're not getting as much out of the cast as you think. I do enjoy them in the overall lineup of Dark Reign in other comics but it doesn't stand as well on its own.
The Age of the Sentry (2008-2009) One look at this comic and you know what you're getting into. Now if you're expecting this to actually shed some light on Sentry's past exploits in Marvel canon, you'll be disappointed. But there's an undeniable charm, and I appreciate the commitment to the bit.
The Amazing Digital Circus (2023-2026) Honestly I didn't watch this because I was a super fan or anything, mostly to keep up with what people were talking about. I don't have much to say that people more invested can't say better. Make no mistake, though, it is good. Interesting seeing it take off.

The Sentry (2005-2006) The Sentry's second series is a bit confusing. The plot and the way it presents its themes, I mean. I'm not sure I "get it." But it wasn't bad. I like the mystery, almost horror aspect, and the view of the Sentry's mentality and hero/villain dynamic from another perspective.
I like how you can see Eva 01 running alongside you in the track, implying that Shinji is not a racer alongside Asuka and Rei because he's already in the damn robot.
Mis(h)adra (2017) A comic about... Well, living with an incurable disability. One that you gotta fight for control over your life with. And about learning to be strong enough to keep going. The art helps paint a picture of a haunting, deeply personal experience that's still easy to connect with.
The Sentry (2000-2001) This one's actually a reread but I figured I'd give myself a refresher. Sentry has always been interesting to explore, and the mystique of this original series as it builds him up is captivating. It gets better the more I think about it as the allegories and themes settle in.
Hi-Fi Rush (2023) I can consider this game beaten but you better believe that I'm still playing it. The type of pure action game that I wish was more prominent in modern gaming now with a unique twist and colorful personality. Worth the wait, even if it shouldn't have taken me this long to play it.
