🎶 APOGEAN 🇨🇦 « Waste Where Life Begins » Technical without being showy, much more groovy and mid-tempo than full-throttle all the time, brimming with little ideas that set them apart, Apogean excel at creating atmospheres and crushing Death Metal songs.
🎶SNORLAX 🇦🇺 « Toxic Current » The profusion of colors on the cover art, much like the variety of musical shades, makes it hard to believe this is the work of a single man. Brendan Auld is like a painter of the extreme, he sketches an eclectic sonic canvas that finds its coherence in chaos and riffs.
🎶 VOLUBILIS 🇨🇦 « Theasterion » A whirlwind of punchy riffs, superb harmonies, magnificent solos, impressive drumming and frenetic vocals. This sci-fi concept album - where virtuosity never overshadows emotion - is classical music, Death Metal style.
