So i know someone who’s been picked up by ICE here in Jax and has been in detention for 4 months. He’s here legally but still being held. I’d run, too, knowing what awaited me. 😞
So i completed #art challenge 4 - the “monster portrait.” Here were all the steps and the final product.
Continuing my 2 week #art challenge. This oil painting of a bird will be done in 3 stages. This is stage 1: paint the entire canvas then subtract/wipe away all the light values to create this under painting. Now i wait for it to dry i can start glazing with transparent paints in step 2
I’m doing a 14 day art challenge. I don’t tend to do detailed pencil sketches often anymore. Could have spent forever on the hair but decided it was good enough for the purposes of the challenge.
Gracie was giving me a “what are you doing up? It’s too early” look this morning
Well this was a giant waste of both human lives and taxpayer money…
At first i was like “haha! Temu art” and then i was like “oh wait, this isn’t satire…” 😭😭😭😭

Some days i think the writers of Idiocracy managed to actually travel to the future and then came back and went “no one will believe us if we tell them what we saw…” so they made a movie in an attempt to warn us but we all just laughed & went “that’s ludicrous.” Now we’re living into ludicrous…
