The Council Hall hosts the most secretive of meetings between the aristocrats of Ravensridge. The master of gothic vibes @avalach.bsky.social did a phenomenal job with this piece! Can't wait to see it printed on the location cards for One Thousand Rats Devour a City.
Here's my not-so-lil Gen Con haul. Was so humbling and awesome that so many creators were open to trades <3
The community #Gencon Cartograph map for Saturday is probably my favourite so far. We had so many folks contribute to this awesome world! 🧭
Day 2 of the Gen Con map! This is genuinely one of the most fun parts of the con for me tbh (plus the giant snail is cute as hell)
First day of Gen Con was so sick. Awesome to see the map that the collective folks of Gencon came up with throughout the day 🧭
Helbridge Lumber processes the rare ghostwood timber on the outskirts of the city, but the work is not without a unique occupational hazard. Such a moody piece by the talented @anthonyavonart.bsky.social
The Dark Markets, one of the locations you can devour in our upcoming game 1000 Rats Devour a City. Illustrated by the illustrious @cadencelewisart.bsky.social!
#UKGE had this bizarre effect on my money. It just kept disappearing. Anyway check out this unrelated pic of my UKGE haul
Having a blast at NZ Armageddon convention 🔥🔥 so many fantastic artists! All I wanna do I design more games so we can commission more artists for covers lmao
Looking at our current array of location art for 1000 Rats. I couldn't be happier with all the talented artists that have worked on this project so far! All these locations look like interesting places for a rat to destroy, which is perfect!
Made a quick mock up of some faction tokens for One Thousand Rats. I kinda self-indulgently enjoy the idea of sneaking a little reference to Cartograph in with the yellow faction token 👀🧭
Appreciation post for my absolute beloved alpha rat BIG GUS. He is my King. I love him.
I'm hoping this means the rulebook can cater to folks who learn in different ways, and if you want to just jump into the game and learn as you go, you can do that with the tutorial. I even tried to make the tutorial evoke that cheesy videogame tutorial vibe with your own NPC teacher 🐀
Pine Cliff - The upperclass district of Ravensridge immaculately illustrated by @avalach.bsky.social "Haughty, intoxicated socialites bring an unseemly clamour to the night in Pine Cliff. The rich perch atop the cliff and laugh as they spill their expensive wine into the waste channels below."
Ratridge, the middleclass district of Ravensridge evocatively illustrated by @emorykj-art.bsky.social "In a futile attempt to escape the Undergutter stench, the middle-class settle in Ratridge. Squalid homes amidst growing businesses give Ratridge the charm of perfume failing to cover rot."
The Undergutter district of Ravensridge - masterfully illustrated by Lisa Turbant (lisaturbant_artworks). "The disease-laden slum in the trenches below Pine Cliff. Lowly thieves and organised criminals alike stare upwards to the Pine Cliff manors that loom from from the district edge above."
The district of Limeside, beautifully illustrated by @anthonyavonart.bsky.social "Black soot wraps buildings like cloaks as factories churn eternally. Enormous furnaces blast heat into the cobbled streets, distilleries concoct vile libations, and the grainlands farm the endless fields."
The Fineries district of Ravensridge - locations wonderfully illustrated by @cadencelewisart.bsky.social "When the rich become bored of heckling the poverty-stricken, they take to the marbled streets of the Fineries to waste money on silk dresses, bathouses, and rare cigars."
Finished up a fantastic game of Notorious by @alwayscheckers.bsky.social! I saw a post talking about it recently and it reawakened the urge to play. My nomad, Tal Videt, successfully hunted his quarry, only to be kicked into an automated freight-container-sorter and crushed to death. 10/10
We're at Gold Coast #Supanova this weekend vending our wares and we just finished setting up our booth. Pretty happy with how's it's looking!
Resisting the urge to design a #ttrpg with this incomplete set of french poker dice I never knew existed until they manifested at the bottom of my dice box 🤷♀️
So I've tried to find a platform to easily play Cartograph online with others, but nothing really existed... So I started making my own webapp for multiplayer online Cartograph #ttrpg play! It's essentially a glorified online whiteboard, but I'm proud of how it's coming along!
One of the things I'm most excited for with our current #solottrpg #Kickstarter, Caught in the Rain, is the solo #ttrpg playing cards. We're offering this deck of cards as an add-on, and we've spent a long time refining the design to be an aid for any solo ttrpg game!
