I’m leading bipartisan legislation to help ensure the VA fully staffs the Fredericksburg facility and VA health care centers across the country.

I’m glad to announce a $3.2 MILLION investment in Stafford County’s Head Start programs.   
This funding will help ensure more children have access to high-quality early childhood education, nutritious meals, and the support that sets kids up for long-term success.

Yesterday, I attended a briefing with the Atlantic Council on the outcomes of the recent NATO Summit and the continued effort to support Ukraine.   A strong NATO is essential to deterring authoritarian threats, protecting democracy, and advancing peace and stability around the world.

It was an honor to welcome the Honorable Han Kuo-yu, President of Taiwan’s Legislative Yuan, and his delegation to Capitol Hill.     I was proud to join them in celebrating our shared commitment to freedom, democracy, and the enduring partnership between our countries.

I've heard from hundreds of Virginia veterans like Robert who can't get the care they earned because of delays at the Fredericksburg VA Health Care Center.  I'll keep fighting to improve staffing, reduce delays, and ensure every veteran gets the care they need.

After Gov. Spanberger and I pushed for action, USDA issued a disaster declaration for Virginia communities impacted by devastating crop losses.  Virginia farmers have waited long enough for relief, and this declaration is an important step forward. (1/2)

I joined AUVSI, the world’s largest trade association for uncrewed systems, robotics, and autonomous technologies, during their Capitol Hill Day.    I appreciated the opportunity to discuss the innovation, workforce development, and policy priorities shaping the future of these critical industries.

I attended a roundtable hosted by Rep. Houlahan to celebrate 50 years of women in the military academies.    It was an honor to join a discussion on the progress made over the past five decades and the work that remains to ensure future generations of women have opportunities to lead and serve.

My dad is many things — brave, strong, proud, and, above all, loving.  Because of him, I’ve had the opportunity to achieve the American Dream.  Happy 94th birthday to my hero. Thank you for everything, Dad.

Farmers across the Commonwealth continue to face the impacts of frost and freeze damage.   I look forward to Under Secretary Fordyce keeping his promise and releasing the designation for Virginia this week.

I watched the 12 students in my office's inaugural Youth Mentorship Program put everything they learned into action during their Mock Congress session.  These students gained firsthand experience in public service. Congratulations to each of these outstanding young leaders.

This war was unnecessary, plain and simple.    Now, the administration is proposing a terrible deal — one that leaves us in a weaker position than we were before the war began.     An avoidable war followed by an inadequate peace is not a success. It's a failure of judgment and leadership.

I joined Gov. Spanberger for the ceremonial signing of the Right to Contraception Act and the Contraception Equality Act.     As a member of the Congressional Reproductive Freedom Caucus, I'll keep fighting until every American has the freedom to make their own reproductive health care decisions.
