I forgot to post this on Sunday. Spotted this magnificent #Mercedes 300SEL 6.3 in Stamford on our way back from the British Motor Museum. Not really #WeirdCarBS, but I'm using the hashtag anyway.
Spent today at the BMC and Leyland show at the British Motor Museum. I have many photos that I need to sort through! However, this was an exhibit I don't remember seeing before. An MG prototype looking very much like an Alfa Romeo Spider. Probably due to Pinninfarina's influence. #WeirdCarBS
Not at all surprising considering how hot and dry it is. Dirty cars at car shows for the rest of the summer anyone?
While the P6 was my favourite car at the show, this was my favourite photo of the day. A fellow LRC member's #MG ZT-T in front of Just Jane, while she was being put back in the hanger at the end of the day. #WeirdCarBS
My favourite car at the show had to be this Mexico Brown #Rover P6 3500S, absolutely stunning.
Thank you 😊 That Corniche was really lovely. I just take them on my phone, and then put the "Palma" filter on them in Google photos, so definitely nothing special.
Thanks to some investigations by @thealso.bsky.social, it was discovered at the weekend that the boot light on this Chinese #MG 6 does in fact feature the Austin Rover logo. The last vestiges of British Leyland et al. really did refuse to die. #WeirdCarBS
