91°F currently, red flag warning, and under a fire watch. The sky is orange from the sun coming through the smoke plume from the Aspen Acres Fire, which started at 2 acres this morning and is now at 2481.2 acres, 0% containment. Roughly 50 miles away.
We just got home from Texas yesterday, and in the midst of record high heat & red flag watches/warnings... Beulah Valley, ~ 30 miles SW of us under evacuation. The Aspen Acres Fire jumped up to 362.4 acres this morning. Looks like Utah, Arizona, New Mexico & Colorado are all burning or under threat.
It was true 10 years ago and it's only more true today. #ETTD
