Printed a fresh batch of city of winter rules. You know I changes something. I just can't help myself. V2 of the City of Winter rules includes the following modified boxed text on p26 "If you Migrate at the end of a Session, continue with that same Chapter next Session"
Played a session of A Perfect Rock by @deepdark.games on Monday. In it, we play explorers looking for a new home on a jaunt through a galaxy of wonder where we use actual stones as prompt inspiration. Top tier layout and smart design choices throughout made running this game a pure delight. A+
Tonight I’m running session 12 of a Temple of Elemental Evil campaign which was one of the first things I ran when I was like 9 years old. The players are a lot smarter than they used to be.
Played desperation at our weekly public storygame meetup. Ithica in The Cards is going on in the background. I have run maybe 8 or 9 sessions of Desperation. This was my first voyage of the Isabell. Such good writing. Such a great system. I hope it inspires many more games.
This past Tuesday at the washington state capitol the @tga.bsky.social joined the secretary of state with many local game companies to share the benefits of tabletop games with legislators and staffers.
@tga.bsky.social is hosting a Tabletop Games Summit this March in Olympia. Unlike a normal games conference this event is for creatives, publishers, educators, retailers, non profits, and other professionals working in tabletop to come together for seminars, talks, and expert panels etc…

Playing Impossible Landscapes got me researching 90s cafe’s in NYC and I found this gem. The Pink Pony Cafe. Closed now. My group really enjoyed revisiting 90s nostalgia, and playing in a rpg setting where you can like, just go to the hardware store and pick up something on your credit card.
